What is an Oasis?

AN OASIS IS A DEFENSIBLE FACILITY IN AN ACCESSIBLE LOCATION THAT PROVIDES A SECURE SHELTER, CLEAN WATER, A SUSTAINABLE FOOD SUPPLY, AND AN ABUNDANCE OF SELF-GENERATED RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

DEFENSIBLE FACILITY

In a SHTF scenario, defending your loved ones and your property against threats will be paramount to your survival. Every Oasis comes with a defense plan that combines multiple layers of security to ward off any threats against those fortunate few that have been granted permission to be within the protective boundaries of your Oasis.

ACCESSIBLE LOCATION

The term “accessible” may mean different things to different people, but we consider “accessible” to be within driving distance of your current location on less than one tank of motor fuel (or one charge for electric vehicles). In a true SHTF scenario, obtaining motor fuel (or an electric vehicle charge) may be too dangerous or even impossible.

SECURE SHELTER

When the SHTF, you and your loved ones will be protected against ballistic, vehicular, and electronic threats. Virtually impenetrable, your secure shelter will keep those zombies at bay while simultaneously providing full environmental controls for those privileged few which are secure within the comfort of your Oasis.

CLEAN WATER SUPPLY

As a general rule, the human body can survive about three days without water. When the SHTF, a secure, clean water supply will be vital to your short- and long-term survival. Every Oasis will provide its own secure, clean water supply from its own water well, using no chlorine, monochloramine, chlorine dioxide, or fluorides.

SUSTAINABLE FOOD SUPPLY

Using permaculture design principles and natural regenerative agricultural practices, every Oasis is designed to provide a sustainable food supply, without the need for chemical fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides, hormones, antibiotics or GMOs. Unlike “USDA organic” which requires only 95% organic ingredients, and Oasis is 100% natural.

CLEAN SELF-GENERATED RENEWABLE ENERGY

If the grid goes down, you will have an abundance of clean, self-generated renewable energy for heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, cooking, refrigeration, lighting, and hot and cold water. Every Oasis is designed to generate all of its own power, and may be grid-tied or completely off-grid.

INCOME-PRODUCING GOODS OR SERVICES

When the SHTF, your only means of income for obtaining the goods or services that you do not produce on-site may be exchange or barter. Every Oasis is designed to produce an excess of goods or services that may be used now, or in the future, for income, exchange or barter.
